About Arroyo

About

Arroyo is home for many of my favorite forms of artistic expression. Painting, photography, sculpture; these are all sources of endless entertainment for me. Growing up in the west, I have always loved wide- open skies, majestic vistas that vanish into infinity, and the feeling that on a clear blue-sky day, that anything can be possible. In my art, have always felt it important to strike a balance between the new and old: the unexpected and the familiar. As a result, Arroyo is a representation of my favorite things. It is a cross-section selection of my favorites that is both fresh and familiar at the same time.

Arroyo features expertly crafted sculpture and jewelry from renowned New Mexico, Pacific Northwest and New York artists, one-of-a-kind, traditionally inspired clay works from Mata Ortiz Mexico, and an extensive collection of antique woodworking tools spanning the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

I am always drawn to people, places and objects with a story to tell. These types of people bring something to the table for me, and my hope is you will find many beautiful places to let your eyes rest when you visit the gallery. Enjoy your time here.
